The Weekend FT has an article on legal, illegal & quasi-legal downloading. Spotify is characterised as white, ie legal…

But legal doesn’t equate to equitable, straightforward, transparent, accountable & responsible. Many of Mr. SG Alder’s activities, that gave rise to Endless Grief, were within the strict boundaries of legal, but that didn’t mitigate the smell.

But what of industry exploitation & evasion on this wonderful morning, the first of the three-day Bredonborough Plum Festival? A lot of organising & planning have gone into the event in this former heartland of fruit-cultivation in England. In the future, as unsustainable is seen & understood to be unsustainable, maybe once again.

20.12    A busy day organising various domestic matters: books & shelves in the Cellar, watering at World HQ.

Lunch by the back door followed by more organising.

A local pal visited at the end of the day for a catching-up on recent personal arisings. Sitting by the back door, the musics of various artists in the Plum Festival Music Celebration have been loud & clear all afternoon, and most welcome.

A gentle evening ahead.
